Less than 100 years have passed since the discovery of the basic principles of industrial processing and manufacturing of plastic. This discovery made almost "world revolution" in the production of polymers. One of the biggest achievements we can assume that, thanks to its unique properties, different types of polymers have successfully replaced many traditional building materials - metal and concrete, glass and wood. The method of polymer processing, in which we operate - a method of rotational molding. The design of all products made by this technology, meet the highest European standards and are manufactured from high strength, frost, light-food polyethylene. The ambient temperature of the products made by rotational molding from -40оС to +60оС. Given that the molding is done without the use of pressure, all products are obtained seamless and very durable. In addition, the product easy to use, both in operation and during transport. They are easy to clean, including, and aggressive cleaning agents.
Rotational molding - the technology of production of light and seamless polymer products of large size, capable of competitive prices and consumer properties. Among the materials for rotational molding polyethylene (PE) plays an important role. The method of rotational molding is possible to obtain products with very complex shapes with the equal walls’ thickness, which is achieved by adjusting the ratio of the speeds of rotation forms the axes. Products produced with the help of rotational molding are widely used in almost all spheres of the market.
The form is attached to one of the handles (the so-called "arm") of the rotomolding machine. The certain amount of polymeric material is loading into it. After that the mould is closed tightly and moved into the heating chamber. There it turns into two mutually planes at a rate of 4 to 20 rev / min. Under the influence of temperature in the oven polyethylene melts and covers the inner surface of the mold evenly.
The mould moves to the cooling sector. During the second stage the mould continues to rotate, thereby achieving the equal walls’ thickness.
The product is extracted from the mould and the process repeats.
During the process the speed and oven temperature are constantly monitored by the operator. We use the machine with independent "arms", which allows the make shaping of each product (or category) on its own program.
Rotational molding is most common process in America and Europe. In the past few years in Ukraine this industry is booming. Unlike other methods of processing of polymers, results at the rotational molding product obtained seamless, with an equal walls’ thickness. Since the material do not exposed with the pressure during the production, the ready product does not have the internal stress and therefore stronger than analogous in form, but made by another method. It is possible to obtain products with a large number of mortgages elements. The possible range of products ranging from 100 to 15 000 liters. (but under certain conditions it is possible to produce the broader range of products), at the same time the method of production by injection molding or extrusion method allows to produce a product of no more than 250 (in special cases up to 500 liters). For our technology we use only the highest quality powder of polyethylene.
The advantages of rotational molding:
past few years, rotational molding industry in Ukraine is booming, a new high-performance equipment appears. Our country is now in the stage of forming the product market at rotational molding. Since the rotational molding industry is in the initial stage of development, the consumer properties of products obtained by rotational molding are just beginning to be studied. Also, one of the main reasons hindering the development of rotational molding process in Ukraine is the lack of domestic raw material base.
"UkrHimPlast" Ltd. is constantly working to improve existing and to develop new products that are in the near future more and more will move out of the market products created by old technology of the last century.
We invite you to discuss the possibility of replacing some of the parts used to build Your production systemsto the details created by rotational molding.
